4.7-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Italy
Rome, October 08 (QNA) - An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck on Thursday the Italian city of Turin.
In a statement, the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology reported that the quake occurred south of Turin, at a depth of 372 kilometers.
No material damage or casualties were reported.
Italy has experienced devastating earthquakes in the past, such as the August 2016 earthquake in Amatrice, central Italy, and the surrounding area, which resulted in the deaths of 299 people. (QNA)
