Palestinian Civil Defense Worker Martyred, Others Injured in Israeli Attacks Across Gaza
Gaza, October 07 (QNA) - A Palestinian Civil Defense worker was martyred and several others were injured early Wednesday in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, medical sources said.
The Civil Defense worker was martyred when an Israeli airstrike hit a team attempting to rescue people wounded in an earlier attack in northern Gaza. Two Palestinians were also injured in a separate strike near Kamal Adwan Hospital.
A girl was wounded by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, as Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire toward tents housing displaced Palestinians.
Israeli occupation forces also detonated a booby-trapped vehicle loaded with tons of explosives to destroy what remained of Palestinian homes east of Gaza City and carried out a demolition operation southeast of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.
Five Palestinians were martyred and several were injured on Tuesday in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across northern, central and southern Gaza.
The Palestinian death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has reached 74,245, with 175,267 people injured, according to Palestinian authorities. (QNA)
