Gold Falls as Investors Await Fed Minutes
Singapore, October 07 (QNA) - Gold prices slipped on Wednesday as investors awaited the minutes of the US Federal Reserve’s September meeting for clues on the outlook for monetary policy.
Spot gold eased 0.3% to $4,150.23 per ounce.
US gold futures edged 0.2% lower to $4,177.60.
Among other precious metals, spot silver fell 1% to $61.12 an ounce, while platinum dropped 0.2% to $1,704.25 and palladium eased 0.3% to $1168.20. (QNA)
