Two Killed, 28 Injured in Russian Attacks Across Ukraine
Kyiv, October 05 (QNA) - Ukrainian authorities said Monday that two people were killed and 28 others were injured in Russian attacks targeting several regions across the country.
The Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported that Russian forces launched 45 attacks on the Sumy region, killing one person and wounding 21 others.
In Kharkiv, one person was killed and six others were injured in Russian shelling, while another person was injured in Kherson in a Russian drone attack.
In a related context, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces said they shot down 172 out of 205 Russian drones launched overnight.
The two sides have regularly reported repelling attacks since the outbreak of the war in February 2022. The claims could not be independently verified. (QNA)
