Riyadh, October 05 (QNA) - Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi reaffirmed the GCC's firm and unwavering position in support of Yemen and all efforts aimed at preserving its security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as efforts to achieve security, peace and stability.

This came during a phone call Albudaiwi held today with Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah Abdulaziz Al Zouba, during which they discussed the latest developments in Yemen amid the current circumstances and rapidly evolving developments in the region.

During the call, Albudaiwi reiterated that Yemen's security and stability are of fundamental importance to the security and stability of the GCC countries and the region. He stressed the GCC's continued support for Yemen and its people and for all efforts aimed at achieving security, stability, peace, a decent standard of living and prosperity for the country. (QNA)
