Occupied Jerusalem, October 31 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation army continued its armed aggression against Hebron in the West Bank Saturday for the ninth consecutive day, deploying further military reinforcements.

Mustered on the outskirts and at the entrances to Hebron, the occupation forces augmented their firepower and pushed troops into the embattled Deir Bahha, which has been under siege since Friday, Oct. 23.

The number of families victimized by the Israeli onslaught rose to more than 780, 537 of whom were entirely evicted, with almost 5,000 Palestinians reeling from the siege and forced displacement, whether through forcing them to move out or rounding them up inside their homes, particularly in Al Jilda and Deir Bahha, which are under a complete lockdown.

Since the start of the offensives in Hebron, occupation soldiers have arrested more than 115 Palestinians, including a girl, with hundreds of others detained and subjected to dehumanization, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported.

The Israeli armed campaign has disrupted classes for nearly 262 students at 589 schools across Hebron throughout the past week, with thousands of students in embattled areas unable to reach their schools. (QNA)
