Israeli Occupation Forces Launch Fresh Offensive, Advance Into Southern Syria
Damascus, October 03 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces fired four artillery shells at the fringe of the villages of Abidin and Maariya in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside, southern Syria.
The offensive was carried out simultaneously with the occupation forces' thrusting into west of the village of Saida Al Hanout in the Quneitra countryside.

The number of violations committed by Israeli occupation forces in Syria in September reached 280, up about 5 percent from August, when 267 violations were recorded.
Meanwhile, the total number of documented violations since the beginning of 2026 rose to 2,032, according to the Sijil Center, which specializes in documenting Israeli violations in Syria.
The center asserted that Quneitra governorate recorded the highest number of violations, with 192 cases, followed by Daraa with 67, while rural Damascus recorded 21 violations. (QNA)
