Gaza, October 17 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation army continued its air campaign Saturday in the Gaza Strip, with its warplanes hitting a group of people near Al-Falouja Cemetery, west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, killing a Palestinian, Palestinian medical sources said.

The sources added that an elderly man and a girl were also wounded by Israeli fire in the same area, as Israeli artillery shelled several areas west of Beit Lahia. Another girl was wounded by gunfire near the town’s western roundabout.

Several people were wounded in an Israeli drone attack that struck a group of residents near the Jordanian Hospital in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

In central Gaza, an elderly man and a child were wounded by Israeli gunfire in two separate shooting incidents east of Deir Al-Balah.

In the southern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians, including a child, were wounded as Israeli military vehicles opened fire in the Al-Maslakh area, southwest of Khan Yunis.

According to sources at Gaza’s hospitals, the death toll since this morning has risen to six, while dozens more have been wounded in attacks targeting various parts of the Strip. (QNA)
