Riyadh, October 17 (QNA) - Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held a phone call on Saturday with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, to discuss the latest developments in the region, efforts to contain conflicts and measures to mitigate their negative effects at the regional and international levels.

The two ministers also discussed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation on current challenges. They affirmed their countries' solidarity in confronting anything that could threaten their security and stability, in ways that would help strengthen regional security and safeguard the interests of the region's peoples.
