Beirut, October 16 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani has met Lebanon's Director General of General Security, Major General Hassan Choucair, in Beirut to discuss bilateral cooperation and the latest developments in Lebanon.

The meeting took place on Friday as part of HE Sheikh Mohammed's visit to the Lebanese capital.

The talks focused on cooperation between Qatar and Lebanon and efforts to strengthen security and stability in the country.

HE Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar's firm support for Lebanon's sovereignty, unity and stability, and reiterated Doha's commitment to standing alongside Lebanese state institutions.

The meeting forms part of Qatar's continued diplomatic engagement with Lebanon amid regional efforts to promote security and stability. (QNA)
