Ankara, October 10 (QNA) - Turkish Chief of General Staff Gen. Selcuk Bayraktaroglu held a phone call Saturday with his Syrian counterpart, Maj. Gen. Ali Noureddine Al Naasan, to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues.

In a statement, the Turkish General Staff said the call between Bayraktaroglu and Al Naasan covered relations between the two countries and regional developments.

The Syrian Arab News Agency, SANA, said the two officials also discussed ways to strengthen military ties and enhance cooperation between the two sides. (QNA)
