New York, January 8 (QNA) – Major stock indices on Wall Street opened lower on Thursday.

The S&P 500 fell 0.10 percent to 6,914.11 points.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average also declined, dropping 145.9 points, or 0.30 percent, to 48,850.17 points.

The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 35.4 points, or 0.15 percent, to 23,548.884 points.(QNA)
