Turkiye, Oman Hold Talks to Boost Bilateral Partnership
Ankara, January 08 (QNA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Thursday met with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, who is currently visiting Turkiye, to discuss strengthening the bilateral partnership between the two countries.
The two ministers also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual concern, foremost among them the developments in the Gaza Strip. They emphasized the importance of achieving a lasting ceasefire, ensuring the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, and supporting the political process aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace for the Palestinian cause in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.
The ministers also reviewed the latest developments in Syria, stressing the importance of supporting efforts to stabilize the country, respecting Syrian sovereignty, and maintaining its territorial integrity, as measures that contribute to enhancing security and stability in the region. (QNA)
