QSE Drops 0.32% at Start of Trading
Doha, January 29 (QNA) - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 36.24 points, or 0.32%, at the start of Thursday's trading, down to the level of 11,336 points, compared to yesterday's closing.
The index was weighed down by a decline in five sectors: Telecoms by (-0.81%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.39%), Transportation (-0.30%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.08%), and Real Estate (-0.06%). On the other hand, Industrials rose by (+0.01%), and Insurance by (+0.13%).
By 10:00 am, 50.228 million shares were traded in 6,085 transactions valued QR 105.988 million. (QNA)
