MCIT Organizes Awareness Workshop on Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence

Doha, January 26 (QNA) - The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), organized an awareness workshop under the SMEs Go Digital Program. The workshop targeted institutions operating within the healthcare sector and aimed to promote the adoption of digital transformation solutions and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance services provided across the national healthcare system.
The workshop highlighted the role of digital transformation and AI in driving innovation within healthcare institutions and featured a specialized session delivered by experts in digital transformation in the healthcare sector. Participants gained valuable insights into the pivotal role of emerging technologies in empowering healthcare institutions, along with practical applications of digital transformation and artificial intelligence that contribute to improving patient experience, increasing operational efficiency, and creating new opportunities for business growth.
This workshop is part of a series of specialized sessions organized under the SMEs Go Digital Program by MCIT. The program targets SMEs operating across vital sectors, including tourism, education, healthcare, retail and wholesale, as well as transport and logistics. It aims to support the development of innovation-driven business models and accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs in Qatar by enabling the adoption of advanced technologies and enhancing their readiness for the digital future, in line with the objectives of the Digital Agenda 2030.
