Doha, January 25 (QNA) - Qatar will host the 29th Qatar Masters golf tournament from Feb. 5 to 8, 2026 at Doha Golf Club, organizers have announced.
The Qatar Golf Federation said the event will feature leading professional golfers from around the world and carry a total prize fund of USD 2.75 million, underlining the tournament's status on the global golfing calendar.
Doha Golf Club will again stage the competition, with organizers highlighting its internationally recognized design and technical challenges.
A press conference is scheduled for February 3 to outline tournament details, player participation and sponsorship arrangements.
The federation's president Hamad Al Mana said the Qatar Masters continues to play an important role in promoting golf, boosting sports tourism and reinforcing Qatar's position as a major host of international sporting events.
He added that the tournament's continued success would not have been possible without the ongoing support of the Qatar Olympic Committee, led by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, praising its role in strengthening the event's standing on the global sporting map.(QNA)
