Cairo, January 19 (QNA) - The Arab League welcomed the ceasefire agreement and the full integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into Syrian state institutions and administrative structures, which was announced by the Syrian Presidency yesterday (Sunday).

In a statement, the Arab League described the agreement as an important step towards building the new Syrian state, strengthening its institutions, and extending its sovereignty over the entirety of its territory, within a framework of national partnership, as affirmed by the recent Syrian presidential decree.

The League reiterated its commitment to all that would enhance the sovereignty, stability, unity, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, and stressed the importance of continuing and intensifying Arab efforts aimed at supporting Syria. (QNA)
