Moscow, January 15 (QNA) - The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Ukrainian attacks on oil tankers in the Black Sea.

Foreign Ministry Official Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement that Moscow strongly condemns Ukrainian attacks "against civilian commercial vessels operating in full compliance with international law." This attack provides further evidence that Kyiv "not only disregards global energy security," she said.

Russia and Ukraine exchange near-daily reports that each has repelled attacks by the other, though these assertions cannot be independently verified because of the ongoing war that began on Feb. 24, 2022. (QNA)
