Doha, January 15 (QNA) - Al Sadd coach Roberto Mancini spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 13 match slated for Friday.

"The upcoming match will be difficult because we are five points behind the league leaders and that is why we need to win every game. It will be a tough encounter," said Mancini.

"We have won several consecutive matches, but we also need to win more. I “know there are other teams that will compete with us for the title. We have 10 matches remaining and when you are five points behind, you have to win them all," he added.

For his part, Al Ahli coach Younes Ali said: "Al Ahli will face a strong team, the reigning league champions for the past two seasons, who are also serious contenders for the title this season. However, Al Ahli will be ready for the match, and the team has been prepared to the best of its ability to deliver a better performance than in the previous match against Al Shamal."

"The match against Al Sadd will not be easy as they are a team that has shown good form in recent league matches and has maintained a consistent level of results. We will be playing with some absences, but will play with full force to achieve a positive result," he added. (QNA)
