Doha, January 14 (QNA) - Al Sadd SC announced Wednesday the loan of its player, Mohammed Waad, to Al Shamal until the end of the season.

Al Sadd on X wished the player well.

The 26-year-old Mohammed Waad is one of the players who have consistently delivered strong performances with Al Sadd in recent years, winning numerous titles with the team, including the league championship last season.

He also contributed to the Qatari national team's victory in the AFC Asian Cup (Qatar 2023).

Mohammed Waad possesses considerable talent, demonstrated throughout his career with Al Sadd and the national teams. He is capable of playing in multiple positions, both in midfield and defense.

The player is scheduled to begin his participation with Al Shamal in their upcoming matches, as the club aims to maintain its position in the top four and climb towards the top spots, given the team's strong performances this season.

Al Shamal occupies fourth place in the Qatar Stars League standings with 21 points. (QNA)
