Damascus, January 13 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces shelled the vicinity of the villages of Kuya and Abdeen in the Yarmouk Basin area west of Daraa in southern Syria on Tuesday. No casualties were reported, as the shelling targeted open areas.
Yesterday, Israeli occupation forces infiltrated the village of Al Mushairifa in the northern Quneitra countryside in southern Syria, establishing a temporary checkpoint before arresting a young man from the village.
The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria.
Syria consistently demands the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territories, asserting that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect under international law.
Syria calls upon the international community to fulfill its responsibilities, deter the occupation's practices, and compel Israel to withdraw completely from southern Syria. (QNA)
