Sultan of Oman Issues Royal Decree Restructuring Council of Ministers
Muscat, January 12 (QNA) - Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of the Sultanate of Oman on Monday issued a royal decree restructuring of the Council of Ministers.
The cabinet included new ministers, including Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs; Bilarab bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat; Saud bin Hilal bin Hamad Al Busaidi as Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Dr. Khamis bin Saif bin Hamoud Al Jabri as Minister of Economy; Ibrahim bin Said bin Ibrahim Al Busaidi as Minister of Heritage and Tourism; and Anwar bin Hilal bin Hamdoon Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion. The remaining ministers retained their positions.
Sultan Haitham bin Tarik also issued a royal decree establishing the Oman International Financial Centre and promulgating its bylaw. (QNA)
