Doha, September 04 (QNA) - The Qatar Volleyball Association has unveiled the schedule for the Youth Festivals for the 2025-2026 sports season.

The program includes a total of 17 festivals for younger age groups: 13 festivals for the Under-12 category (played in a 4×4 format) and 4 festivals for the Under-10 category (played in a 3×3 format).

The program will run over eight months in the Association’s hall and several club venues, serving as a key pillar in the Association’s strategy to develop emerging talents and expand the sport’s base.

The events will begin on Sep. 20 with the first Under-12 festival at the Association’s hall, followed by the second on Sep. 27, and the third on Oct. 4 at Al Ahli Club. Al Rayyan Club will host the fourth festival on Nov. 8.

On Nov. 15, the first Under-10 festival will be held at Al Arabi Club, followed by the fifth Under-12 festival on Nov. 22 at the Association’s hall. The sixth will take place at Al Gharafa Club on Nov. 29, and the seventh at the Association’s hall on Dec. 6.

In the new year, Al Wakrah Club will host the second Under-10 festival on January 17, followed by three Under-12 festivals at the Association’s hall on January 24 and 31, and at Al Khor Club on Feb. 7. The Association’s hall will then host the eleventh festival on Feb. 14.

On Mar. 28, Al Qatari Club will host the third Under-10 festival, followed by the twelfth Under-12 festival on Apr. 4 at Al Shamal Club. Al Sadd Club will host the fourth Under-10 festival on Apr. 11, and the Association’s hall will stage the thirteenth Under-12 festival on Apr. 18. The season will conclude on Apr. 25 with the final Under-10 festival (3×3) at the Association’s hall.

The Qatar Volleyball Association a recognizes the role of these festivals in building a new generation of promising players and honing their technical and physical skills from an early age. The initiative also engages clubs in developing the game, expanding its fan base, and providing an ideal competitive environment that allows young athletes to gain experience and sharpen their talent while instilling sports values and team spirit.
