Qatar Stars League, Aspetar Renew Partnership Agreement

Doha, September 21 (QNA) - The Qatar Stars League (QSL) announced the renewal of its partnership agreement with Aspetar, the world's leading specialist orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital, as the Official Medical Partner of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League.

This renewal builds on the fruitful co-operation between the two organizations, which aim to ensure the health and safety of players and raise the technical level of football in Qatar.

In a statement on Sunday, QSL said that this strategic partnership plays a pivotal role in the development of Qatar football as Aspetar provides an integrated system of world-class medical and healthcare services to all QSL clubs.

This role is not limited to treating injuries, but extends to include prevention programme, comprehensive periodic medical examinations, customized recovery and rehabilitation plans as well as advanced scientific research aimed at improving athletic performance and reducing the risk of injuries.

On the occasion, Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of QSL, said, "With its tremendous capabilities, programmes and initiatives, Aspetar is undoubtedly one of the most important sports medical facilities in the world.

It consistently provides distinguished medical services while maintaining high-quality standards to ensure the safety of players and all athletes. 

We're pleased to announce the renewal of this partnership and co-operation agreement, which comes in line QSL's commitment towards building strong and solid relationships with various partners. 

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my thanks and appreciation to all those in charge of Aspetar hospital, the medical and administrative staff, and all employees for their effective, influential and vital role with us over the past seasons. We hope that this agreement will contribute to strengthening our co-operation."

On his part, Khalid Ali Al Mawlawi, Acting Director-General of Aspetar, said, "We, at Aspetar, are proud to continue our distinguished and ongoing partnership with QSL which we consider as a fundamental pillar in our efforts to support sports and athletes in Qatar.

The renewal of this agreement reflects the depth of trust between us and the successes we've achieved together over the past years.

Aspetar is committed to harnessing all its global expertise and capabilities to develop the game and provide a safe and healthy environment for players, enabling them to reach their maximum physical and athletic potential.
