Doha, September 19 (QNA) - HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani received phone calls from a number of his counterparts around the world expressing their full solidarity with the State of Qatar following the Israeli attack on Doha on Sep. 9.

HE the Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalifa expressed his thank and appreciation for these supportive gestures, noting that they reflect the depth of the ties between the State of Qatar and its brotherly and friendly nations.
Among those who called were HE First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, HE Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif Al Saud, and HE Minister of Interior of Oman Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi.

His Excellency also received calls from HE GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohammed Albudaiwi, HE Minister of Interior of Jordan Mazeen Abdullah Al Farrayeh, and HE Minister of Interior of Iraq General Abdul Amir Al Shammari.

Further calls came from HE Minister of Interior and Municipalities of Lebanon Ahmad Al Hajjar, HE Minister of Interior of Egypt Mahmoud Tawfiq, HE Minister of Interior of Yemen Major General Ibrahim Ali Haidan, HE Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Koman, and HE Minister of Interior and Counter-Narcotics of Pakistan Mohsin Raza Naqvi.

International outreach also included calls from HE Minister of Interior of Germany Alexander Dobrindt, HE Minister of Interior of Italy Matteo Piantedosi, and HE Chief of Police of Germany Dr. Dieter Romann.
In addition, calls came from HE Commander of the Gendarmerie of the Republic of Turkiye General Ali Cardakci, HE Commander of the Carabinieri of the Italian Republic General Salvatore Luongo, and HE Commander of the National Gendarmerie of France General Hubert Bonneau.

All of these officials conveyed their full solidarity with Qatar, voiced support for the measures it is taking to safeguard its security and sovereignty, and condemned the Israeli attack on Doha. (QNA)
