Qatar Charity Sends Humanitarian Aid Convoy to Southern Syria
Doha, September 14 (QNA) - Qatar Charity (QC) has dispatched food and nonfood aid to 400 Syrian families via the Nasib border crossing between Syria and Jordan.
This aid is part of coordination between the State of Qatar - represented by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and QC, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in direct coordination with the Syrian government and the Qatari Embassy in Damascus.
The initiative aims to reinforce humanitarian solidarity with the Syrian people and reaffirm their commitment to collaborative work in providing urgent relief, especially amid increasing living and health challenges in some Syrian regions. This support contributes to alleviating suffering, meeting basic needs, and promoting community stability and resilience in difficult circumstances.
The humanitarian convoy, which will be distributed by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent to the most vulnerable families in Sweida Governorate, as well as shelter centers in rural Damascus and Daraa, according to approved humanitarian response plans, includes essential food supplies such as flour, in addition to medical materials.
