Nairobi, August 07 (QNA) - The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) secured a 2–0 victory over Zambia Thursday in the second round of Group A matches at the African Nations Championship, currently being held across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

This win ended a five-match winless streak for DRC in the tournament, while Zambia suffered its first-ever group stage defeat in the championship, ending a 12-match unbeaten run. (QNA)
