Zurich, August 28 (QNA) - FIFA announced Thursday the launch of its 2025 international Player Transfer Course, to run from December 9 to 12 in Miami, USA.

This initiative aims to enhance and refine the skills and expertise of participants in one of the core areas of global football operations.

A FIFA statement said the application will be open from August 28 to September 30.

Every year, more than 20,000 international transfers are completed involving players from over 5,000 clubs worldwide, read the statement.

While FIFA has significantly simplified the system in recent years, the process still requires a deep understanding of its various stages and procedures, as well as familiarity with the legal framework that governs it, it added.

The world football governing body added that the program is tailored for professionals currently or prospectively involved in international transfers. The course offers a concise yet comprehensive overview of the international transfer system, combining theoretical sessions with practical exercises to equip participants with the confidence and competence to handle the complexities of international transfers.
