Gaza, August 17 (QNA) - Six Palestinians were killed and others injured Sunday evening as a result of raids and shelling carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that three citizens, including a man and his wife, were killed as a result of an Israeli bombardment that targeted two houses in the Al Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. Meanwhile, three citizens were killed and eight others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces targeted a gathering of citizens in the Al Bureij camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

Earlier today, medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to 61,944 martyrs, in addition to 155,886 injuries since Oct. 7, 2023. (QNA)
