Berlin, August 18 (QNA) - RB Leipzig announced on Monday that its Portuguese striker Andre Silva had transferred to Elche, a newly promoted team in Spain’s top soccer division, La Liga.
The German club praised Silva’s professionalism, commitment, and contributions during his time with the team, but did not disclose further details about the transfer agreement.
Silva, 29, joined Leipzig in the summer of 2021 from Eintracht Frankfurt for a reported fee of about 23 million euros. He made 110 appearances for the club.
Last season, Silva played on loan at Real Sociedad in Spain before moving to Werder Bremen on loan for the second half of the 2023-24 campaign. (QNA)
