Berlin, August 11 (QNA) - Bayer 04 Leverkusen announced that it has signed goalkeeper Janis Blaswich from RB Leipzig on a two-year loan.

In a statement issued Monday, Bayer 04 said that Blaswich's contract is valid until June 30, 2027, and that he will be the replacement for Lukas Hradecky, who has moved to Monaco.

Commenting on this, Bayer 04 Managing Sportآ Director Simon Rolfes said: "In addition to his individual quality, Janis brings a great deal of international experience to the table. We're delighted we were able to complete this first-class transfer."

Playing for RB Leipzig, Blaswich has participated in 64 of his club's matches and won the German Cup with them in 2023. Last season, he was loaned out to Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg. (QNA)
