Doha, July 08 (QNA) - Al Shahania Sports Club announced Tuesday the signing of right-back Mohammed Ibrahim on a one-season loan.

The club stated on its official social media accounts that Mohammed Ibrahim signed the loan agreement after receiving approval from Al Rayyan SC, which holds the player’s contract rights until 2030.

Al Shahania added that Ibrahim represents a significant technical addition to the team, having proven his capabilities in the right-back position throughout the 2024-2025 season.

The 23-year-old is considered one of the standout players in the Qatari football league (QNB Stars League), having played 25 matches for Al Shahania last season.

Earlier, Al Shahania had announced several signings of both professional and local players in preparation for the 2025-2026 season. The club also appointed Spanish coach Santi Denia to lead the team.

Al Shahania will kick off its new season campaign with a match against Al Duhail on Aug. 16, as part of the first round of the league. (QNA)
