Border Clashes between South Sudan, Uganda Kill Six Soldiers from Both Sides
Kampala, July 30 (QNA) - Six people were killed in clashes between the armies of South Sudan and Uganda. The clashes took place in the county of Kajo Keji near their disputed shared border.
In a statement on Wednesday, Ugandan army spokesperson Felix Kulayigye said that South Sudanese soldiers entered into Uganda's West Nile region and refused to leave, which led to the exchange of fire between both countries' armies, killing one Ugandan and five South Sudanese soldiers.
For their part, officials in South Sudan stated that troops from both armies exchanged fire on Monday in Kajo Keji County, resulting in the death of five South Sudanese soldiers. (QNA)
