Doha, July 21 (QNA) - Al Duhail SC announced Monday the loan transfer of Brazilian defender Lucas Verissimo to Al Wakrah's first football team.

Al Duhail, the runner-up in the Qatar Stars League last season, announced in a statement on its official website that the club had loaned the 30-year-old Brazilian defender to Al Wakrah without disclosing the contract duration or financial details.

Al Duhail are holding an external training camp in the Netherlands, which will continue until August 4, during which they will play several friendly matches.

Al Duhail finished the 2024-25 Qatari League season in second place overall and will represent Qatar in the preliminary round of the AFC Champions League, where they will face Iran's Sepahan in September. (QNA)
