Doha, July 16 (QNA) - The Ministry of Sports and Youth has launched the mobile application "Shabab Lad3m" to facilitate interaction between the youth and youth-related entities by means of an integrated digital platform that provides access to events, programs, and youth-related news in Qatar.

The announcement was made during a press conference held at Lusail Multipurpose Hall, attended by representatives from the Ministry of Sports and Youth, prominent youth leaders, in addition to youth center and body representatives.

The platform was launched under the initiative of the Ministry's Youth Affairs Department's Youth Centers and Bodies section, in collaboration with other relevant Ministry departments yesterday.

The project's manager Abdullah Ahmed Al Kathiri gave a detailed presentation on the app's features, highlighting the ease of signing up, the ability to explore events and programs, interact with youth institutions and services, and communicate directly with relevant authorities.

Head of the Youth Centers and Bodies section Mubarak Jaithan Al Dosari said that the app's launch is a strategic step toward empowering the youth and strengthening their connection to youth centers, thus, integrating youth work.

For his part, Director of the Youth Affairs Department Fawaz Abdullah Al Musifri stated that the launch of "Shabab Lad3m" is part of the Ministry's broader move to use technology to enhance youth work, in line with the development goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the national youth policy.

The Ministry of Sports and Youth called on all the youth and on those interested in youth work to download the app via digital stores and benefit from the app's services. (QNA)
