Doha, July 11 (QNA) - Al Ahli SC announced Friday the signing of Talal Ali for one season from Al Markhiya Club.

The club said in a statement that the player signed a contract to join Al Ahli as part of the management's efforts to strengthen the squad with distinguished local players capable of supporting the team technically in preparation for next season's competitions at the local and continental levels.

Al Ahli had previously signed Frenchman Ibrahim Diallo, who has previous experience with Al Duhail and Al Khor clubs, in addition to Sohaib Janan from Al Duhail Club, Othman Al Yahri from Umm Salal Club, and Khaled Radwan from Al Khor.

Al Ahli are preparing for next season's competitions by holding an external training camp in the Netherlands from July 15 to August 3.

This comes after finishing fourth in the Qatari Football League last season, a position that qualifies them to participate in the AFC Champions League 2. (QNA)
