Qatari League: Qatar SC Signs Mohamed Alaa, Ahmed Sayyar
Doha, June 30 (QNA) - Qatar SC announced the signing of duo Mohamed Alaa from Al Arabi and Ahmed Sayyar from Al Sadd.
The club said in a statement on its official X account that the duo officially signed their contracts to join the first football team, without disclosing the financial details or the duration of the contract.
Qatar SC, which has not won the league title since the 2002-2003 season, is seeking to strengthen its starting lineup and conclude new deals during its preparations for the new season (2025-2026), which will begin on August 14.
The club had previously announced the expiration of the contracts of six of its professional players: Spanish defender Javi Martinez, South African Percy Tau, Brazilian Carlinhos Vinicius, Congolese Ben Malango, Moroccan defender Badr Banoun, and Egyptian striker Ahmed Abdelkader.
Qatar Club finished last season in the10th place with 23 points. (QNA)
