General Directorate of Coasts and Border Security Organizes Job-Shadowing Program for Djibouti Officers
Doha, June 26 (QNA) - The General Directorate of Coasts and Border Security at the Ministry of Interior concluded today its two-week job-shadowing program for a number of officers from the German Federal Police, as well as a specialized training course on combating illegal immigration, which included the participation of officers from the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Djibouti.
These initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation and exchange expertise in maritime security.
The job-shadowing program lasted for two weeks and involved familiarization with the operational mechanisms of various departments within the General Directorate of Coasts and Border Security. Participants also learned about the latest technologies and equipment in use, methods of handling maritime reports and incidents, and visited the maritime training and qualification center.
The training course, organized by the maritime training center in cooperation with the Police Officers Institute at the Police Academy, addressed several key topics related to combating illegal immigration, including root cause analysis, identifying different types, and understanding associated routes.
At the conclusion of the program, Director General of Coasts and Border Security Major General Nasser Jabr Al Nuaimi presented certificates to the participants. (QNA)
