Doha, June 19 (QNA) - Al Duhail Club announced Thursday the official signing of Algerian striker Adel Boulbina, who will join the first football team for the new 2025-2026 season.

The club said in a statement on its official account on the X platform that its new player, Boulbina, 22 years old, signed a contract to join the team, following a full agreement with Algerian club Paradou AC.

Boulbina excelled during the past season in the Algerian League, scoring 20 goals and providing 7 assists in 27 matches.

Earlier this month, Al Duhail announced the signing of Algerian coach Djamel Belmadi to replace Frenchman Christophe Galtier, whose contract expired.

They also succeeded in signing Senegalese Youssouf Sebli from Spanish club Real Betis.

The club began its signings with Polish striker Krzysztof Piatek, a player for the Turkish club Basaksehir, in early June.

Al Duhail finished the 2024-25 season in second place in the league standings and will represent Qatar in the AFC Champions League preliminary round, where they will face Iranian side Sepahan next September. (QNA)
