Doha, June 01 (QNA) - In a new achievement reflecting its leadership in the field of digital media, Qatar News Agency (QNA) has won the ''Innovation in the Use of Artificial Intelligence in News" award on the sidelines of the Google Cloud Summit Doha 2025, which was recently held with the participation of leading figures in technology, media, and regional decision-makers.

This recognition comes in appreciation of QNA’s pioneering efforts in integrating AI technologies into its news ecosystem, particularly through the development of a system for analyzing audio and video clips and converting them into written text. This innovation has significantly enhanced editorial efficiency, publishing speed, and content accuracy.

On this occasion, HE Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA) Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi expressed his pride in this achievement, noting that the award serves as motivation to continue the path of digital transformation and adopt the latest technologies in support of national media.

This award aligns with QNA’s vision of delivering advanced news content that meets the demands of the digital age and strengthens Qatar’s position as a regional hub for media and technological innovation. (QNA)
