Chinese Cargo Drone "Caihong-YH 1000" Completes First Test Flight
Beijing, May 23 (QNA) - The Chinese cargo drone "Caihong-YH 1000" has successfully completed its first test flight, marking a significant step in the development of unmanned logistics solutions.
The drone is twin-engine, designed to operate at medium altitudes, with the ability to take off and land on unprepared surfaces, including dirt roads, off-road trails, and grasslands. It can also be equipped for water or ice landings via additional attachments.
Key specifications include flight range of up to 1,500 kilometers, maximum operational altitude of 8,000 meters, endurance of up to 10 hours, and payload capacity of 1,200 kilograms.
The drone features multiple cargo-loading options, allowing shipments to be loaded from the front or dropped mid-flight from below.
Its integrated 6-kilowatt power system enables it to carry out specialized tasks, further expanding its potential applications in logistics and beyond. (QNA)
