Doha, May 22 (QNA) - HE President of the Qatar School Sports Association (QSSA), and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the School Olympic Program (SOP) Sheikh Khalifa bin Khalid Al-Thani, affirmed that Qatar has become a leading model in school sports, thanks to an integrated strategic vision that has resulted in outstanding technical performance and promising student talents, which constitute a fundamental pillar in strengthening the ranks of national teams in various sports.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) at the conclusion of the 18th edition of the School Olympic Program on Thursday, His Excellency praised the role of all the partners in the success, sponsors, the organizing committee, and everyone who contributed to the program's distinguished success.

He noted that the School Olympic Program is a national initiative aimed at discovering sporting talent among school students and developing their capabilities.

The President of the Qatar School Sports Association (QSSA) and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the School Olympic Program (SOP) affirmed that the success achieved by the 18th edition of the program is an incentive to continue to excel in order to advance the future of Qatari sports.

HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Khalid Al-Thani added that this year's program has achieved an exceptional organizational leap by all standards and has received widespread approval and praise from observers and followers. His Excellency added that this reinforces the State of Qatar's position as a leading regional center for the development of school sports and contributes to building generations of athletes characterized by high skill, discipline, and a spirit of fair competition.
