Ministry of Justice Establishes Office for Judgment Registration, Enforcement
Doha, April 27 (QNA) - The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has established an office for the registration and enforcement of judgments related to real estate issued by courts at the Supreme Judicial Council building in Hazm Al Markhiya.
This step comes within the framework of the Ministry's plan to bring services closer to the public and facilitate access to them within an integrated system that includes enhancing real estate services and streamlining procedures for stakeholders.
The new office specializes in providing registration and enforcement services for final judgments related to real estate issued by competent courts in the country, ensuring the speed and accuracy of completing transactions in accordance with approved legal frameworks.
The opening of the new office reinforces ongoing efforts to develop and provide more efficient services to beneficiaries in the real estate registration and documentation sector.
Director of the Real Estate Registration Department at MoJ, Amer Saeed Al Ghafri, emphasized the importance of opening the new office, which comes within the framework of coordination and cooperation between the MoJ and the Supreme Judicial Council to provide judicial services to citizens and beneficiaries with ease and convenience.
He noted that it also reflects the Ministry's commitment to implementing its new work plan, which will bring about a qualitative shift in facilitating access to these services. He explained that clients no longer need to visit the main building of the MoJ, as the new office provides all services related to registering and implementing final judgments related to real estate.
Al Ghafri added that the inauguration of this office is part of a series of measures recently adopted to enhance the performance of the real estate registration sector. The new security version of the usufruct certificate was launched and issued to enhance the security of real estate documents, raise the level of protection against forgery, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data, enhancing the reliability of real estate procedures and improving the quality of services provided.
The Director of the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice explained that in order to support digital transformation and establish it as a key element in developing the real estate services system, and in line with a future vision aimed at meeting the requirements of the digital age, the Department has launched electronic usufruct services via the SAK application for smart devices. This aims to facilitate procedures, expedite operations, and enhance the efficiency of services and user experience.
The digital ownership of the title deed and usufruct certificate was also launched via the application, and they can now be downloaded directly to the owners' smart device wallets, providing users with immediate access to real estate ownership data.
Al Ghafri noted that the Real Estate Registration Department welcomes the public and clients involved in real estate registration and execution transactions at the new office in the Supreme Judicial Council building in Hazm Al Markhiya. He noted that any inquiries or questions can be communicated with the Department through the communication services available on its official accounts and digital platforms. (QNA)
