Doha, April 21 (QNA) - Lusail University has organized an "Open Day" to introduce its academic programs and services.

This event is part of its efforts to attract students from the Qatari community and provide distinguished educational opportunities.

The university will welcome students from 85 public and private schools during this event, which will continue until Wednesday. The event will be held according to a specific schedule. Today is designated for male students from public schools, while Tuesday, is designated for female students from public schools. Students from private and community schools will be welcomed on Wednesday.

During the event, visitors will learn about the university's four colleges: the College of Arts and Education, the College of Law, the College of Business and Commerce, and the College of Information Technology. These colleges offer approximately 15 undergraduate majors taught in three languages: Arabic, English, and French.

The event also provides students with the opportunity to learn about the diverse university services offered by Lusail University, including student employment, student activity programs, financial aid, academic advising, and academic support and special needs programs.

Academic advisors accompany students during their visit to ensure a comprehensive and beneficial experience, helping them learn about available opportunities and how to apply to Lusail University. The event continues until the end of July.

Lusail University, the first private national university in Qatar, has held the "Open Day" event annually since its establishment in the 2020-2021 academic year.

This event stems from its mission to prepare qualified human resources to meet the needs of the local and international labor market, and to promote scientific research and sustainable development to serve the community. (QNA)
