Doha, April 01 (QNA) - The Al Arabi Football Club has announced that defender Jassim Jaber will be sidelined for 6 to 8 weeks due to trauma to the groin area.

In a statement posted on X platform Tuesday, the club confirmed that the player underwent successful surgery and will be absent from the team for the specified duration.

Al Arabi currently sits in seventh place with 23 points following their goalless draw against Qatar FC in the previous round. They are set to face Al Gharafa next Friday in the 20th round of the contest.

Jaber missed Qatar’s match against Kyrgyzstan in the 8th round of Group A in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. (QNA)
