Premier League: Liverpool Announce Contract Extension for Egyptian Star Mohamed Salah Until Summer 2027
London, April 11 (QNA) - Premier League leaders Liverpool officially announced the contract extension of Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, keeping him at Anfield until June 30, 2027.
Salah, 32, was originally set to leave at the end of the current season, but the club moved quickly to secure his future with a two-year extension.
Salah stated that he is really excited, and that Liverpool has a fantastic team right now, highlighting that he signed the extension because he believe they have a great chance to win more trophies and continue enjoying our football.
Salah joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from AS Roma. Since then, he has scored 243 goals in 394 appearances across all competitions.
His contributions helped the club secure numerous major titles, including UEFA Champions League, the long-awaited 2020 Premier League title, the FA Cup, two League Cups, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup. (QNA)
