Doha, April 01 (QNA) - The Katara's Cultural Village Foundation continues to hold cultural, recreational and heritage events to mark Eid Al Fitr celebrations, with the third day of Eid featuring a broader participation of visitors from all age groups and nationalities.

Katara Fareej is one of the most prominent events Katara holds, in pursuit of reviving the Qatari heritage and presenting visitors from citizens, residents and tourists to explore the conventional life in Qatar that had been pursued during ancient times.

The events are organized through live scenes reflecting the authenticity of Qatari mores in an environment that simulates the revival of the past with all its details, with heritage cuisines there serving a broad range of authentic Qatari dishes.

Al Thuraya Planetarium's shows garnered record numbers of visitors, showcasing a variety of presentations utilizing 3D technology, covering topics related to astronomy, stars, and space, which received a great approbation from the audience. Moreover, Al Oud nights event, organized by Katara Oud Center, attracted art and music enthusiasts.

Katara Director of Public Relations and Communication Salem Mabkhout Al Marri, underscored Katara's commitment to holding events that best suit the public interest, highlighting that there are musical shows that keep drawing numerous visitors, along with plays, contests and more interestingly Katara's Eid gifts that represent the most important event for children.

Al Marri added that Katara, with all its facilities and grounds have become an incredible destination for families all the time, especially during Eid celebrations, where they can find amenities, beaches, coffees and restaurants everywhere.

He called on the public to enjoy the remaining activities, as Katara is broadly committed to presenting everything that instils happiness in hearts and nurtures their cultural and recreational experience. (QNA)
