Doha, February 28 (QNA) - The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced an initiative to double subsidized food rations for eligible citizens. Under this initiative, the quantities of rice, sugar, oil, and milk available on the ration card will be doubled from the beginning of Ramadan until its conclusion.

The ministry emphasized that this measure reflects its commitment to ensuring the availability of essential food supplies in adequate quantities during the sacred month. It also assured citizens that food rations will be distributed through 300 designated distribution centers nationwide, with sufficient stock reserves to maintain a steady supply throughout Ramadan.

The ministry called on citizens to benefit from this initiative, stressing its commitment to providing the necessary support to meet the needs of families during the holy month of Ramadan. (QNA)
