Doha, December 09 (QNA) - The Qatar Social and Cultural Center for the Blind (QSCCB) announced its participation in this year's Darb Al Saai events, joining other national entities commemorating Qatar National Day (QND). This participation reflects the values of identity, heritage, and strengthened community engagement.

QSCCB is presenting a specialized informational exhibition highlighting assistive tools and technologies for people with visual impairments, with the aim of raising awareness about mechanisms that support the blind and showcasing the significant advancements in devices that help them learn, navigate, and integrate into daily life.

The center’s team is also offering visitors hands-on demonstrations of how these tools are used and how they enhance the independence of individuals with visual impairments, while giving the public the opportunity to try some of the interactive devices themselves.

The Center emphasized that its participation in Darb Al Saai is an important opportunity to introduce the community to services and technologies available to the blind, and to promote a culture of inclusion and empowerment for people with visual impairments. (QNA)
