QU Opens Admission to Graduate Programs for Fall 2026

Doha, December 08 (QNA) - Qatar University (QU) has announced the commencement of applications for admission to its graduate programs for the Fall 2026 semester, during the period from 1 December 2025 to 25 February 2026.

In a statement issued today, the University invited all prospective graduate students to submit their applications online, provided that they meet the academic requirements specific to each program.

Applicants are urged to review the program details and admission criteria available on the Graduate Studies Department's website. Applications are to be submitted exclusively through the electronic admissions system, which requires the creation of a user account and the upload of all required documents.

The University clarified that the application window covers 48 programs, including: doctoral programs in the College of Arts and Sciences; the Master's Program in Arabic Language and Literature; the Master's in Materials Science and Technology; all master's and doctoral programs in the College of Sharia, with the exception of the PhD in Creed and Islamic Thought; the Master's in Quran and Sunnah (Sunnah and Hadith Studies); the Master's in Creed and Religions (Creed and Islamic Thought); all programs in the College of Health Sciences and the College of Pharmacy; programs in the health and medical sciences sector; all programs in the College of Education; all programs in the College of Business and Economics except the Master of Science in Finance and the Master of Marketing; doctoral programs in Engineering; and, additionally, the Master's in Computing, the Master's in Mechanical Engineering, and the Master's and PhD programs in the College of Law, excluding postgraduate certificates in law.

The University emphasized that admission decisions will be strictly competitive among applicants who meet the eligibility criteria. It noted that the deadline for submitting the online application is 25 February 2026, while the deadline for submitting all required documents is 25 May 2026.

 Applications will not be considered complete unless all requirements are fulfilled and documents uploaded before the deadline.

The University added that admission decisions will be announced on 17 June through applicants' online accounts and will also be communicated via email. The Fall 2026 semester is scheduled to commence on 23 August 2026. (QNA)
